..for the journey that I’ve committed myself to for many days, months, and years to come. I’d love for you to take this journey with me. What journey you ask? The journey to a better ME!
I’m officially a Momsanity sister!! I cannot wait to gain the friendships (“sisterhoods”), knowledge, healthier lifestyle, and deepen my relationship with Christ right along fellow believers. Right along with others who share my same struggles that I do, who face similar challenges, and who are supportive and want to be supported.
If you haven’t heard of the Momsanity sisterhood I invite you to go to their website(s) Momsanity and Momsanity Sisterhood, take a look to see if you’d be interested in becoming a Momsanity sister. If you already are or decide to join please comment below.
It’s going to be a fun and challenging experience that I know my body physically, mentally, and emotionally, will thank me for later. It’s about time I do something to benefit myself, what about you?
I am not one who wears much makeup but I recently made a ginormous leap and invested in some ‘big girl’ mascara. My friend was hosting an online party and I wanted to support and help her out. After making my Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara purchase I wondered if I had just wasted money and if I ever would really wear the mascara. Before I knew it, it arrived.
This gal who once in a blue moon took time to put on makeup was like a little giddy 12 year old putting makeup on for the first time. I couldn’t get into the package fast enough.
I am amazed by this mascara and in complete love with this product. I felt I should share my results incase any of you are in search of a new mascara.
It’s pretty apparent which eye has the mascara and which one doesn’t. It truly is that big of a difference, no tricks or gimmicks. Outside of making your lashes look incredible, it’s an all natural product. The Younique 3D Fiber Lashes mascara is also waterproof but comes off easily with soap and water. I have sensitive skin and after much trial and error I’ve discovered the only facial cleansing wipe that doesn’t affect me negatively is the Burt’s Bees facial cleansing towelettes for sensitive skin. Much to my happiness, they worked perfectly to remove the mascara as well. The next two photos are of the facial cleansing wipe and the rest of my makeup from yesterday’s makeover.
Until next time, xo!
Being employed by a health care company, there are many perks. I absolutely love my job, what I do, and who I do it for! Last year we were able to purchase a Fitbit for a discounted rate and I absolutely loved it. That thing was attached to me like I needed it to live. Then, it broke.
You can imagine the excitement when we were able to again do the same this year! I ordered mine on Monday and it arrived on Thursday. Amazed at the turnaround time!!
The Fitbit I selected was the Flex and instead of black, I chose the color teal. Totally in love! I personally like the flex the best because of the size, sleep tracker, silent alarm, and it does a great job of tracking your steps. I even sync mine with My Fitness Pal to get the best use. Between the two, they also keep up with how many calories I’ve burned and my caloric intake. Yes, I am super excited.
Do you have a Fitbit? I’d love to hear which one you have and how you’re doing with it. Today’s my first day wearing one again. Below is a picture of mine, like I said earlier, totally in love with the color!!
Good evening y’all! I’m sure by now you’ve seen the announcement that I posted last week about my niece’s arrival. I wanted to provide some more information about this little bundle of joy.
My sister was due March 12th but Lily had decreased movement on their appointment March 4th. She also had a two-vessel cord that they’ve monitored the later part of my sister’s pregnancy. With those two factors, they decided it was best to induce her on Friday, March 6th.
The delivery went smooth and as planned, mom and baby are doing good. Lily arrived weighing 5 pounds 12.5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. She’s so little and so precious!
We made her a bag of goodies that included a complete ‘my first Easter’ outfit, a ‘my first St. Patrick’s Day’ bib, a pack of pants, an owl comfort blanket toy, and a pretty sweet Batman onesie that has a removable cape.
Every time we visited, she slept the whole time. I haven’t heard her cry except through a video her dad taped right after she was born. She had the cutest bottom lip wimpher I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to take some newborn shots of her!
Here are some photos from when we visited and got to meet this sweet angel.
Until next time friends, xo!
